Half Moon Bay Bicycle Tour

A couple weeks ago we spent the day driving around the mountains between San Jose and the coast and riding our bikes through Half Moon Bay. It was much less bright on the coast than in San Jose, and the hills were a nice break from the flat city. This was my third bike ride in the last 10 years, and I think I'm hooked. I pulled Miss H around in a kiddo trailer that I got used a couple years ago. We followed Tom since he was more comfortable with his bike. In the end we did almost 9 miles. We rode through most of the streets in town, went up a hill (it's really hard to go up a steep hill with the trailer, my front tire kept flipping up!) and through an 1800's Catholic cemetery, crossed Highway 1, and rode along a beach trail for a bit! We are looking forward to going back to Half Moon Bay in a few weeks for their pumpkin festival.
