Zip-Up Pouches

I have admired the Noodlehead Zip-Up Pouches for a long time, but never got around to making any. Once my Kid's Clothes Week projects were finished, Miss H and I picked out some stash fabric and she chose some zippers.

We both love the way they turned out! They are pretty quick to sew once you've got the idea down. We made three in the sizes suggested, and one smaller, just by dropping the cutting and box corner dimensions a little bit. I did use some pretty stiff iron on interfacing on these, and am thankful I did as it makes them more manageable for 3 year old fingers.

The only thing I haven't completely figured out is how to get the long sticking out end of the zipper not to wrinkle where the seam crosses it! More trial and error I guess...
