Winter KCW: Hello Petal Nightgown

Last week Miss H and I stumbled upon a few pieces of Aneela Hoey's new line of fabric called Hello Petal. She and I both fell in love with the pink kitty piece and decided it would make a good nightgown.

I used the Oliver + S Class Picnic Blouse pattern, and modified its length. I did this last winter with some flannel, and I loved the result. I used the size 3 pattern, and added an extra 8 inches in length. It used less than a yard and a half of fabric, probably much closer to a yard. This is one of the easiest patterns to sew!

(Note: I had a hard time with the lighting in the pictures. I'm hoping for some editing help later, so just maybe there will be a better picture!)

  1. Hi, I loved how the nightgown turned out! I have also used several Oliver+S patterns. However with some of them I have found them to be a bit difficult to put on my baby girl. Have you had that experience?
